About

Clean Prints started as two dudes who loved to draw, make art, and screen print stuff.

Aaron had just graduated UC Irvine with a studio art degree. Charlie was finishing up at Otis College as a product design major. We met as neighbors in 2010 and have been working together ever since, the dynamic duo, inseparable.

Aaron had a screen printing setup in his kitchen. Charlie had sketchbooks full of insane artwork. We figured, let's see what we can do.

Started printing tees out of that kitchen and wholesaling to local shops around Los Angeles. Then in 2012 we opened our own store called Clean {aesthetic}. What started as a simple brick and mortar to showcase our artwork and clothing turned into something way bigger than we ever planned. Playa opened their arms and embraced us for seven years straight. It became part of our souls, part of our identity. It was never just a shop. It was a spot for people to hang, for local artists to show their work, and a way to give back to the community that showed up for us.

In 2019 the building got sold and we got the boot. Went dormant for five years. But we never stopped making stuff, just refining the process and waiting for the right time to come back.

That time is now, and we're back with a new name and a new outlook. Clean Aesthetic is now Clean Prints. Same two dudes, same love for the craft, new chapter. New drops online. Going live on TikTok. We're jumping back into Playa and back into the community that raised us.

No AI. No shortcuts. Just two guys who never stopped drawing.
